Introduction

(I began this year on the night/morning of July 30-31st freaking out thinking I was missing the first day...below is the first thing I wrote, not technically in August)

—————

yes started
saying something
"the seasons will pass you by"
how many lines does it take
          to eat the soul of
          a survivor a explorer
who would be the one to imagine
          the world once you're gone?
caves and waves and
          paths to have silence
          and solitude—wait!
For all we did is talk!
all we did is walk!
the days are not kind to
          wanderers but your feet
          are like golden slippers
          washed by the midnight rams
who so ever should stay should
          say what their intentions are
it all makes it make it all
